Laura Foist knew Burt Tinsley well in college, so well that she rejects any idea that he dedicated times of yore murder that sent Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel to prison in 2002. Skakel is serving 20 years to life for bludgeoning Martha Moxley to death with a golf club in 1975 in wealthy Greenwich. The nephew of Ethel Kennedy is seeking a new trial based on a claim in civil court that implicates Tinsley and his friend, Adolf Hasbrouck, in Moxley's murder. Tinsley, who lives in Portland, Ore., and Hasbrouck, a Bridgeport resident, have refused to comment, but Hasbrouck's wife, has called the account a lie.
